LEGAL NOTICE RYE SELECT BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Town of Rye Select Board will hold a Public Hearing on October 14, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Rye Town Hall at 10 Central, Rye, NH. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the approval and adoption of the Overnight Parking and Camping Ordinance. This is a selectmen's ordinance. The purpose of this regulation is to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the Town of Rye. The Town of Rye does not have appropriate facilities to allow overnight parking for those seeking to camp or stay overnight in vehicles in Rye. Overnight parking, and overnight camping that often results from such overnight parking, causes a significant increase in trash, noise, sanitation issues, incidental public indecency, and other health and safety considerations.
