FILED: __________________DEPUTY CLERK NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AUTHORITY TO COMPROMISE CLAIM NOTICE is hereby given that LARRY DOUGLAS WALKER, JR., Administrator of the SUCCESSION OF LARRY DOUGLAS WALKER, SR., has, pursuant to the provisions of the Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure Articles 3198 and 3229, petitioned the Court for a Judgment authorizing the compromise of certain claims asserted by the Administrator of the SUCCESSION OF LARRY DOUGLAS WALKER, SR., under the Camp Lejeune Justice Act of 2022, and authorizing the execution of a Settlement Agreement, on behalf of the SUCCESSION OF LARRY DOUGLAS WALKER, SR., effectuating the compromise among the Administrator of the SUCCESSION OF LARRY DOUGLAS WALKER, SR. and the United States of America, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Settlement Agreement. The Judgment may be rendered after the expiration of seven (7) days from the date of this publication, and any opposition must be filed prior to the rendering of the Judgment.
