Notice is hereby given pursuant to Chapter 40A, Section 9 of the Massachusetts General Laws and Chapter 305 Section 13.05, Brant Rock Village Overlay District, and Chapter 415, Mixed-Use Residential Over Commercial, of the Marshfield Municipal Code that a remote (Zoom) public hearing will be held by the Marshfield Planning Board on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 7:05pm to consider and hear comments on the Brant Rock Village Overlay District (BRVO) Special Permit Application submitted by the Drosopoulos Family. The applicant proposes to construct a mixed-use building containing residences, commercial space, and restaurants with associated parking, utilities, and stormwater management necessary to service the new development. The property is owned by the S & D Properties LLC. The property is located at 239-287 Ocean Street in the B-4 Business and Brant Rock Village Overlay Zoning Districts and is further identified on the Assessor's Map as Parcels M07-03-03/04/05A and M07-02-19/20/22/23/24/25/26 containing approximately 121,480 square feet of land. The remote hearing will be on ZOOM. The link to attend the meeting will be posted on the Town of Marshfield, MA website calendar at least 48 hours before the meeting. The meeting will be hosted from the Planning Board office at Town Hall, 870 Moraine Street. A copy of the application is on file at the Planning Board office and may be inspected during regular business hours.
