BOROUGH OF CARTERET
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Borough of Carteret Planning Board at its October 29, 2025, public meeting, adopted a resolution granting the undersigned, Roosevelt Lofts Urban Renewal, LLC (the "Applicant"), preliminary and final site plan approval in connection with the proposed redevelopment of premises known as Carteret Avenue, Roosevelt Avenue, and Locust Street in the Borough of Carteret, and shown on the Borough of Carteret Tax Maps as Block 6805, Lots 1-11 and 19-29 (the "Property"). The property is located within the Locust-Roosevelt Redevelopment Area and redevelopment is governed by the provisions of the Locust-Roosevelt Plan (the "Redevelopment Plan"). The applicant is redeveloping the Property with a new six-story mixed use building building, 257 on-site parking spaces and 87 off-site parking spaces to accommodate uses permitted pursuant to the Redevelopment Plan with comprehensive site improvements including streetscape and sidewalk enhancements, decorative lighting, landscaped planters, street trees, and new utility infrastructure.
Copies of the Resolution, application, plans and other supporting documents are available at www.carteret.net or on file in the Office of the Department of Planning and Zoning, located at the Municipal Building at 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, NJ, and are available there for inspection Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
