
LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the following open comment public hearings will be held by the Council of the City of Akron on Monday, December 8, 2025, during a special meeting to be held at 5:00 p.m. (EST):
Ordinance authorizing a Conditional Use to construct a warehouse and distribution center at 2322 Manchester Road.
Ordinance authorizing a Conditional Use to place a digital outdoor advertising display on McIntosh Avenue, adjacent to Interstate 277.
Ordinance authorizing a Conditional Use to retain a solid fence within the Emmons Avenue and Ardendale Avenue setbacks at 110 Emmons Avenue.
Ordinance authorizing a Conditional Use to retain a three unit apartment house at 151 Ruckel Road.
Ordinance authorizing a Conditional Use to construct a gas station/convenience store, two-bay car wash and truck parking area at 1805 E. Market Street.
Ordinance authorizing a Conditional Use to place oversized directional way-finding signage within the building line setback at 350 Opportunity Parkway.
This legislation will also be discussed during the Planning & Economic Development Committee meeting at 1:00 p.m. Participants may attend in person at the Akron City Council Chambers, 166 South High Street or remotely by joining the meeting via videoconference. All public hearing participants that would like to join remotely must provide contact information including an email address and phone number at which they can be reached to sbiviano@akronohio.gov by no later than December 5, 2025.
Those who do not appear, but wish to express their support or opposition to the subject conditional use requests may do so, in writing, by emailing their remarks to sbiviano@akronohio.gov by no later than 4:00 p.m. on December 5, 2025. In order to be included in the record, please submit any documentation for consideration by the Council no later than 4:00 p.m. on December 5, 2025. The meetings may also be accessed for viewing via livestream, which will be available at: www.akroncitycouncil.org.
Any changes to the time, location, venue/forum of the aforementioned meetings will be posted on Akron City Council's website: www.akroncitycouncil.org.
