Public notice is hereby given that the Village of North Pekin, Tazewell County, Illinois Planning and Zoning Commission shall hear the Petition for Zoning Amendment of Dennis E. Merkley, Davis & Campbell L.L.C. on June 9, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the North Pekin Village Hall, located at 206 Lincoln Boulevard, North Pekin, Illinois, to allow a zoning amendment to allow it to change the zoning to allow the zoning classification of Subject Property to I-1 industrial district (light) commonly known as 1124 Edgewater Drive, North Pekin, Illinois, and more fully described as follows:
Part of the North 20 acres of the west 50 acres of the East half of the Southeast quarter of Section 23, Township 25 North, Range 5 West of the Third Principal Meridian, more particularly described as: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 23; thence North 89º55'35" West 476.14 feet along the north line of the Southeast Quarter to the east Line of the West 50 acres of the East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 23, thence South 00º21'15" East 72.01 feet along said east Line to a point on the south right of way line of Edgewater Drive (Illinois Route 98) for the PLACE OF BEGINNING OF THIS DESCRIPTION; thence continuing South 00º21'15" East 978.11 feet along said east line to a point on the south line of the North 20 acres of the West 50 acres of the East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 23; thence North 89º55'35" West 769.41 feet along said south line to the east line of the West 60 feet of the West 50 acres of the East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 23; thence North 00º21'15" West 1004.07 feet along said east line to a point on the south right of way line of Edgewater Drive (Illinois Route 98), said point being 500º21'15"E 46.05 feet from the north line of the Southeast 1/4; thence South 87º59'46" East 769.88 feet along said south right-of-way line to the place of beginning.
