LIVINGSTON COUNTY ZONING
PUBLIC NOTICE
Public notice is hereby given to all persons in the County of Livingston, State of Illinois, that a public hearing will be held by the Livingston County Regional Planning Commission on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 7:00 P.M., as well as the Livingston County Zoning Board of Appeals on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 6:00 P.M., in the Livingston County Historic Courthouse, 112 W. Madison St., Pontiac, Illinois, for the purpose for reviewing a proposed amendment to the text of the Livingston County Zoning Regulations as follows:
Proposed Text Amendment to Chapter 56, Section 56-687, Code of Ordinances, Livingston County, Illinois, recommending to establish a general setback of 25 feet from public rights-of-way for fencing in the Agricultural and Industrial Districts where such fencing surrounds a use other than a residential or agricultural use that is not otherwise specified in the Code of Ordinances.
As a result of the petition of the Livingston County Board, 112 W. Madison St., Pontiac, IL. of which the petition is on file as Case ZT-5-26. This petition is available for examination in the office of the Livingston County Regional Planning Commission, 112 W. Madison St., Pontiac, IL.
All persons interested are invited to said hearings and be heard.
