Lafourche Parish Fire Protection District #4 Lafourche Fire Protection District #4 Meeting Minutes December 08, 2025 I. Call to Order The regular quarterly meeting of the Fire Protection District #4 Board was called to order at 6:32p.m. on December 08, 2025 at Bowie Fire Station - 1075 Hwy 1, Thibodaux, LA. Pledge of Allegiance by Richard Bourgeois. II. Roll Call Secretary David Boudreaux conducted a roll call. The following persons were present: President Ruben Boudreaux Jr., Secretary David Boudreaux, Treasurer Perry Falcon, Richard Bourgeois. III. Recognize Guest in Attendance David Bourgeois (applicant for open board member position) IV. Accept Last Quarter Minutes Perry Falcon motioned to accept the last quarter minutes and 2nd by Richard Bourgeois. Passed unanimously. V. Communication No communications were received. VI. Treasurer's Report Treasurer's report handed out by Perry Falcon (Treasurer). Treasurer Perry Falcon pointed there were not any significant entries for income or expenses since the last meeting. Ending balance of $48,792.23 was reported. Richard Bourgeois motioned to accept the Treasurer's report and 2nd by David Boudreaux. Passed unanimously. VII. Reading of Bills to be Paid Treasurer Perry Falcon presented two bills to be paid: Accounting Services by T.S. Kearns CPAof $1,850 for financial statements and $717.88 for out-of-pocket expenses concerning the millage renewal election performed by Foly & Judell, L.L.P. Richard Bourgeois motioned to pay both bills and 2nd by David Boudreaux. Passed unanimously. VIII. Unfinished Business No Unfinished Business. IX. New Business Discussion of payment to the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department. President Ruben Boudreaux Jr. recommended a payment of $41,230.62 based on the ending budget for 2025. Motion was made by Terry Falcon and 2nd by David Boudreaux to make the payment to the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department. Passed unanimously. President Ruben Boudreaux Jr. presented the amended 2025 budget. Motion was made by Terry Falcon and 2nd by Richard Bourgeois to accept the amended 2025 budget. Passed unanimously. President Ruben Boudreaux Jr. presented the proposed 2026 budget. Motion was made by Terry Falcon and 2nd by David Boudreaux to accept the proposed 2026 budget. Passed unanimously. President Ruben Boudreaux Jr. recommended a 4.81millage amount for 2026. Based on information from the Lafourche Parish Assessor's Office the millage amount would yield $124,505.05 in tax revenue. Motion was made by David Boudreaux and 2nd by Richard Bourgeois to accept the 4.81 millage amount. Passed unanimously. X. Adjournment Perry Falcon made a motion to adjourn.
