Lee County Public Works Plumbing Replacement Invitation to Bid Sealed bids will be received by the Construction Manager – Chris-Tel Construction, 2534-A Edison Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida 33901 (239-226-0500) until October 08, 2025 by 5:00PM EST, for Lee County Public Works Plumbing Replacement for the following Bid Packages: BP#02A Selective Demolition BP#06A Millwork/Casework BP#09A Painting BP#09B Flooring BP#09C Drywall BP#9D Acoustical BP#10 Misc. Specialties BP#22A Plumbing BP#23A HVAC Bids will be received based upon PowerPoint and mark-up As-Built Drawings. Only firms meeting prequalification criteria may bid. Firms must submit a completed experience questionnaire and financial statement on the form entitled "Chris-Tel Construction's Bidder Qualifications", incorporated herein by reference before prequalification can be determined. The firm's financial condition must demonstrate that adequate fixed and liquid assets and equipment are available to properly perform the Subcontract. The firm must have successfully completed no less than two (2) projects of similar size and complexity within the last five (5) years. Firms must be licensed by the State of Florida for the work they are to perform. Firms must also be acceptable to Lee County Public Works and Chris-Tel Construction. All firms awarded subcontracts agree to comply with all provisions of Chapter 8 United States Code Section 1324a by not employing nor continuing employment of an unauthorized alien as defined by law. All firms awarded subcontracts agree to use the E-Verify system for any employees they may hire during the term of this project and shall be required to provide Chris-Tel Construction with an affidavit stating the subcontractor does not employ, contract with, or subcontract with an unauthorized alien, as stated in Section 448.095, Florida Statutes. All firms awarded subcontracts agree to abide by Executive Order No. 11246 of September 24, 1965, and all awardees will, in all solicitations or advancements for employees placed by or behalf of the awardee, state that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
