Pursuant to the provisions of Section 295-143B of the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson Code, Notice is hereby given that: A Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 7:00 PM, in the Meeting Room, Municipal Building, 7 Maple Avenue, Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. The Hearing will be held on the application of Travis & Fiona Noyes for approval to create a new Accessory Dwelling Unit, as per Section 295-67D.2(b) of the Village code, on their single-family lot at 324 Farragut Avenue. Said property is located in the R-10 Zoning District and is known as SBL: 4.110-124-7 on the Town of Greenburgh Tax Maps. No waivers required. The Planning Board will at this time and place hear all persons in support of such matter and any objections thereto.
THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS - Case #15-25
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 295-143B of the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson Code, Notice is hereby given that: A Public Hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Meeting Room, Municipal Building, 7 Maple Avenue, Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. The Hearing will be held on the application of Travis & Fiona Noyes for relief from the strict application of Sections 295-67D,2,b,1(b), 295-55A & 295-68F1,d,3(a&b) of the Village Code for the proposed creation of an Accessory Dwelling Unit in an existing, non-conforming, detached garage on their property at 324 Farragut Avenue. Said property is located in the R-10 Zoning District and is known as SBL:4.110-124-7 on the Town of Greenburgh Tax Maps. Variances requested are as follows:
1. Accessory Dwelling Unit required to be in a conforming accessory structure: Variance Required - Existing structure is non-conforming in relation to rear- & side-yard setbacks and height {295-67D,2,b,1(b)}. 2. Increase of non-conformity in relation to height at extended dormer {295-68F,1,d,3(a&b) w/295-55A}
The Zoning Board of Appeals will at this time and place hear all persons in support of such matter and any objections thereto. Plans will be made available for review at the Building Department and on the Village web site, www.hohny.gov, on or about the Friday prior to the meetings.
