Legal Notice - Public Hearing - Board of Zoning Appeals The Village of Silver Lake's Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on Tues. May 19th at 5:00pm for the purpose of hearing a variance request being made by The Crofts, 2881 Hastings Road. The Crofts are requesting to build a garage addition with a 10 ft garage door. Pursuant to Section 1133.04, Garage doors shall be no taller than 8 feet. The board will also hear a variance request being made by the Silver Lake Veteran's Committee to erect 6 military branch flags by the veteran's tribute garden. The lighted flagpoles will be 16 feet tall. Pursuant to Village Code, the maximum height of pole-mounted light fixtures is 12 feet. One meeting is required to hear both of these variance requests.
