Legal Notice PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT I, THE UNDERSIGNED Receiver of Taxes of the Wappingers Central School District, Town of Fishkill in Dutchess County, have duly received the Tax Roll and Warrant for the Collection of Taxes for the Wappingers Central School District for the School Year July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, will attend (only for the collection of taxes for the above Town) at Town Hall, 807 Route 52. Fishkill, NY 12524 from September 15, 2025 through October 14, 2025, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 3:30 PM for the purpose of receiving Taxes Assessed upon such rolls. Checks or money order are to be made payable to Katherine Buneta, Receiver of Taxes. No payment will be received Saturdays, Sundays, or on legal holidays. Tax office information may be obtained by calling (845) 831-7800 ext. 3338. Tax Rate for District per $1,000 Assessed Value Homestead - $13.24 Non-Homestead - $17.41 TAKE FURTHER NOTICE: Taxes may be paid on or before October 14, 2025 without penalty. On all such remaining unpaid taxes after said October 14, 2025, two (2) percent will be added through October 31, 2025, at which time the unpaid school taxes will be turned over to the Dutchess County Commissioner of Finance, Poughkeepsie, NY, to be re-levied on the 2026 land tax bills with an added seven (7) percent.
