Legal Notice TOWN OF ARLINGTON BYLAW AND ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENTS Pursuant to the provisions of Section 32 of Chapter 40 of the General Laws of Massachusetts, I Juliana H. Brazile, Town Clerk of the Town of Arlington, hereby give notice regarding amendments to the Town Bylaws adopted by Articles 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12 under the Warrant for the Annual Town Meeting convened on April 28, 2025 which were approved by the Office of the Attorney General of the Commonwealth on September 23, 2025; and Town Bylaws adopted by Article 10 under the Warrant for the Annual Town Meeting convened on April 27, 2015 and approved by the Attorney General of the Commonwealth on April 9, 2025. Article 10 (2015) makes corrections to the text description of the Mt Gilboa/Crescent Hill Historic District to bring it into agreement with the existing historic district map Article 6 allows Town Meeting to do voice votes by saying "yes/no" or "yea/nay" Article 7 establishes a revolving fund dedicated to energy efficiency and electrification projects Article 8 amends the Canine Control bylaw to reflect new kennel laws and update wording Article 10 removes the requirement that Arlington Poets Laureate must be a current resident Article 11 creates a process for removing properties from the Historical Commission inventory Article 12 removes a requirement that appointed committee members must be registered voters Copies of the complete text of the amendments may be obtained in the Office of the Town Clerk upon request or at arlingtonma.gov/town-governance/laws-and-regulations/town-bylaws or reviewed at the Department of Planning & Community Development.
