Legal Notice Separate sealed bids will be received by the City Procurement Officer of the City of Mansfield at the office of Human Resource, 30 North Diamond Street 8th Floor, Mansfield, Ohio 44902 until Twelve O'clock (12:00) Noon, Local Time, Friday, October 31, 2025 for the improvement of the various departments and divisions of the City of Mansfield by furnishing and delivering the yearly needs of supplies, materials, etc. during the year 2026. Detailed specifications, quantities and proposal forms are on file in the office of the City Procurement Officer and will be made available to prospective bidders upon request. Bids are to be submitted only on forms furnished by the City Procurement Officer. Envelopes must be plainly marked on the outside: "BID FOR ANNUAL MATERIALS." Bids must contain the full name of the person or company interested in the same and must be accompanied by a certified check on some solvent bank or a satisfactory bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, in the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) payable to the Director of Public Works of the City of Mansfield, Ohio as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Should any bid be rejected, such check will be forthwith returned to the bidder and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned upon proper execution and securing of the contract. Bids to be received are for the following items: Fire Hydrants, Catch Basin Grates, Gravel, Ready Mix Concrete, Asphaltic Concrete, Bituminous Cold Mix, Liquid Caustic Soda, Activated Carbon, Technical Grade Liquid Aluminum Sulfate Polymer, Corrosion Inhibitor, Aluminum Sulfate Solution, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Propane), Algaecide, Anaerobic Sludge Dewatering Polymer, Sodium Hypochlorite, Gasoline and Diesel. The City of Mansfield, Ohio shall award the contracts for furnishing and delivering the yearly needs of supplies, materials, etc. to the bidder who, in the sole opinion of the city, submits the lowest and best bid.
