The regular meetings of the Planning Commission and Board of Building and Zoning Appeals will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The meetings will be held at City Hall, 1st floor Council Chambers, 538 North Market Street, Wooster, Ohio.
The Board of Building and Zoning Appeals will hold public hearings for the following applications at their meeting, which will begin at 7:30 pm: BZA-26-5 Brent Rozar requesting an area variance from Planning and Zoning Code Section 1127.10(c)(3) to allow a building sign above the roofline at 3401 Old Airport Road (Parcel Number 67-02100.000) in an I-2 (General Industrial) zoning district. BZA-26-7 J. Douglas Drushal requesting an area variance from Planning and Zoning Code Section 1115.02 minimum lot frontage for a proposed lot split on parcel number 67-02436.000 located at 2708 Akron Road, in an I-1 (Office/Limited Industrial) zoning district.
All interested parties are welcome to attend and will have the opportunity to address the Commission and Board during the public hearing portion of the meetings, as well as submit evidence and written comments regarding the applications. Special auxiliary aids for individuals with disabilities are available upon request, provided at least five days' notice is given prior to the meeting.
