Notice of Public Hearing for Zoning Bylaw Amendment
In accordance with the provisions of M.G.L, Chapter 40A, Section 5, the Paxton Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM, to review a proposed amendment to the Paxton Zoning Bylaw, which would add an MBTA Communities Multi-family Overlay District allowing multi-family developments by-right in one or more of the following locations: 1105 Pleasant St (map 10/lot 20); 0 West St (map 5/lot 1); 95 Asnebumskit Rd (map 26/lot 105); 221 Grove St (map 18/lot 107). The public hearing will be held in person at 576 Pleasant Street, Paxton, MA, in the Paxton Public Safety Complex Training Room.
The proposed bylaw amendment and maps are available for inspection at the Permitting Department at the Public Safety Complex (576 Pleasant Street, Paxton), the Town Hall (697 Pleasant Street, Paxton), and on the Town's website at https://www.paxtonma.gov/mbta.
The public hearing will be followed by a Planning Board meeting at 7:00 PM to discuss the proposed MBTA Communities Multi-family Overlay District and to consider the selection of one or more parcels to be proposed for adoption at the Special Town Meeting on December 1, 2025. The Planning Board's meeting agenda will be posted on the Town website at www.paxtonma.gov.
