NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: that Devon Energy, 333 West Sheridan Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73102, requests that the Commission, pursuant to OAC 165:10-7-16(f) administratively authorize the approval of non-commercial flow back and storage pits for a Water Recycle Facility.
Devon Energy filed an application with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (one Application for Flow Back Water Pit in excess of 50,000 BBLS) to construct the Foghorn Water Recycle Facility in Custer County, Oklahoma. Devon proposes to construct the facility to accept non-hazardous oil and gas waste subject to the jurisdiction of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and treat/recycle the fluids into brine water for reuse as oil and gas exploration and production fluids.

LOCATION: S/2 SW/4 of Section 24, T14N-R20W IM, Custer County,

The facility will have two (2) storage pits totaling 1,022,578-bbl capacity
One-511,289-bbl East Storage Pit located in the S/2 SW/4
Fluid Stored: Produced Water
One-511,289-bbl West Storage Pit located in the S/2 SW/4
Fluid Stored: Produced Water
All in Section 24, T14N-R20W IM, Custer County, Oklahoma

Written protests to the relief sought must be submitted to the applicant or its representative and the Manager of the Pollution Abatement Department, Oklahoma Corporation Commission, P.O. Box 52000 Oklahoma City, OK 73152-2000, within fifteen (15) days after publication of the notice. Written protests must specify the name of the applicant, locations of the proposed pits, reasons for protest and the name(s), physical mailing address(es), telephone number(s), email address(es), and facsimile number(s) of the protestant(s).
