Logan County Arkansas October Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. 2025-45 BE IT ENACTED BY THE QUORUM COURT OF LOGAN COUNTY, STATE OF ARKANSAS, AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE 2024 LOGAN COUNTY BUDGET ORDINANCE 2024-01; To Anticipate Revenues, APPROPRIATE, and transfer FUNDS in VARIOUS BudgetS; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES." WHEREAS, the County Judge has requested an appropriation of $24.04 from the County General Fund, Transfers Out Budget to the Lost Revenue Recovery Fund to various budgets to clean under appropriations; and WHEREAS, the County Judge has requested an appropriation of $17,338.52 from the County General Fund, Transfers Out Budget to the Emergency Management Services (EMS) Fund to EMS Budget to clean under appropriations; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee previously met and approved these requests. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE QUORUM COURT OF LOGAN COUNTY, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That Anticipated Revenue for the County General Fund is $17,362.56, and the Quorum Court may appropriate these funds in the Transfers Out Budget. 1000.8888.9999 Transfers Out $17,362.56 SECTION 2. SPONSOR: JP Sparks ORDINANCE NO. 2025-52 BE IT ENACTED BY THE QUORUM COURT, COUNTY OF LOGAN, STATE OF ARKANSAS, AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2025-1, TO RECEIVE REVENUE AND APPROPRIATE THE SAME, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES" WHEREAS, the Logan County Sheriff's Office has received unanticipated funds from Hometown Publishing and WHEREAS, the Logan County Sheriff's Office requests that the money received, $2,561.25, be divided between the Boys and Girls Club organizations in Logan County, Arkansas. That Logan County has a contract with these organizations to provide services for the youth of Logan County, which is a vital public function. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE QUORUM COURT OF ­­­­LOGAN COUNTY, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The Quorum Court of Logan County hereby acknowledges the receipt of unanticipated funds in the amount of $2,561.25 into County General Fund. Section 2. Ordinance 2025-1 is amended and the County General Fund is hereby decreased in the amount of $2,561.25. Account Code 1000-0116-1010, Paris/Booneville Boys and Girls Club, Grants-in-Aid Fund, is hereby increased in the amount of $2,561.25 and said sum shall be divided equally between the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Logan County and the Paris Boys and Girls Club for and in consideration of the services that they provide as a vital public function.
