MEETING NOTICE BOARD OF EDUCATION GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN The Board of Education will be meeting in the Green Bay Area Public School District Office Building located at 200 S. Broadway, Green Bay, WI 54303. Open session meetings will take place in room #331 and closed session portions of meetings will take place in room #337, both of which are located on the 3rd floor. Some individuals will be joining via zoom and the meeting will be live streamed broadcasted on the Green Bay Area Public School District YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrBxEp_9xzauvGyUydBvV9g. These meetings are meetings of the Board of Education in public for the purpose of conducting the School District's business and are not to be considered public community meetings. There is a time for public participation during Work Sessions and Regular Board meetings as indicated in the agenda. Members of the public wishing to address the Board may speak during the public forum or provide written comments in accordance with the procedures posted on the District's website (https://www.gbaps.org/aboutgbaps/board-of-education/board-meeting-protocol) and state law. Due to Wisconsin Open Meetings Laws the Board may not be able to address comments made during public input. When appropriate the Board may request the administration to reach out to a citizen regarding a concern they may have. Any special needs or any requests for accommodations related to accessing the meeting should be sent to kllehr@gbaps.org at least 24-hours in advance of the meeting. This would include any person for whom it would be burdensome or infeasible to use the primary method(s) of remote access established by the District. The Agenda will be available on the District's Web Site www.gbaps.org on the Friday preceding the meeting, the Agenda is incorporated by reference as part of this Notice. SPECIAL BOARD MEETING Monday, January 12, 2026 Open Session - 5 p.m. The meeting will convene in Open Session at 5 p.m. in room #331 to consider the agenda which will include discussion and action as deemed necessary on: Employment of Staff Transfer of Staff Resignation of Staff Retirement of Staff WORK SESSION Monday, January 12, 2026 Open Session - Immediately Following Special Board Meeting & Adjourn into Closed Session The meeting will convene in Open Session immediately following the Special Board Meeting in room #331 to consider the agenda which will include a Public Forum and discussion on Strategic Planning Update Related to Academic Excellence, Update Related to Academic Excellence Strategic Action to Execute a Cadence of Scheduled Check-Ins with School Leaders to Review School Progress Toward Success Plan Goals, Update Related to Academic Excellence Strategic Action to Execute a Cadence of Learning Walks in Order to Verify Alignment Between Instruction, Instructional Materials and Grade-Level Standards, Open Enrollment Space Designation for 2026-27, Head Start Self Assessment, Head Start Selection Criteria, John Dewey Academy of Learning Contract Renewal, and School Board Election Update. Following the Open Session, there will be a motion to reconvene into Closed Session in Room #337, pursuant to: Wisconsin Statute 19.85 (1)(a) and (f) - Considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where par. (b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations; to wit: for the purpose of holding expulsion hearings under Wisconsin Statute 120.13(1)(c) and (e).
