MEETING NOTICE
BOARD OF EDUCATION
GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN
The Board of Education will be meeting in the Green Bay Area Public School District Office Building located at 200 S. Broadway, Green Bay, WI 54303. Open session meetings will take place in room #331 and closed session portions of meetings will take place in room #337 (unless otherwise noted), both of which are located on the 3rd floor. Some individuals will be joining via zoom and the meeting will be live streamed broadcasted on the Green Bay Area Public School District YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrBxEp_9xzauvGyUydBvV9g.
These meetings are meetings of the Board of Education in public for the purpose of conducting the School District's business and are not to be considered public community meetings. There is a time for public participation during the Work Session meeting as indicated in the agenda. Members of the public wishing to address the Board may speak during the public forum or provide written comments in accordance with the procedures posted on the District's website (https://www.gbaps.org/aboutgbaps/board-of-education/board-meeting-protocol) and state law. Due to Wisconsin Open Meetings Laws the Board may not be able to address comments made during public input. When appropriate the Board may request the administration to reach out to a citizen regarding a concern they may have.
Any special needs or any requests for accommodations related to accessing the meeting should be sent to kllehr@gbaps.org at least 24-hours in advance of the meeting. This would include any person for whom it would be burdensome or infeasible to use the primary method(s) of remote access established by the District. The Agenda will be available on the District's Web Site www.gbaps.org on the Friday preceding the meeting, the Agenda is incorporated by reference as part of this Notice.

Open Session - 6:00 p.m. & Adjourn into Closed Session
The meeting will convene in Open Session at 5:00 p.m. with a motion to go into Closed Session in room #337 pursuant to:
Wisconsin Statute 19.85 (1) (c) – considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility; to wit: deliberation of new Superintendent contract; and
Wisconsin Statute 19.85 (1)(a) and (f) - Considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where par. (b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations; to wit: for the purpose of holding expulsion hearings under Wisconsin Statute 120.13(1)(c) and (e); and
Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(d), to consider strategies for crime detection or prevention, to wit: to review and discuss sensitive school safety protocols and revisions to same.
The Board will reconvene in Open Session at 6:00 p.m. in room #331 pursuant to Section 19.85(2), Wisconsin Statute to consider the balance of the agenda which will include a Public Forum and discussion on Superintendent Update, Legislative Update, Referendum Poll Results, Budget Discussion, and discussion and action as deemed necessary on Consent Agenda, New Superintendent Contract, Land Exchange Agreement Between the Village of Bellevue and Green Bay Area Public School District, Extension of Developer Agreement with the City of Green Bay, Recommendation to Convert Edison Middle School Pool to Auxiliary Gymnasium, Middle School Science Instructional Material Purchase, 2026-27 Health Insurance Plan Modifications, Health Insurance Plan Rates for Active Employees, Health Insurance Plan Rates for Retirees, Dental Insurance Rates for Active Employees, Dental Insurance Rates for Retirees, Voluntary Vision Insurance for Active Employees, Voluntary Vision Insurance for Retirees, Potential Transition from the District's Internal Income Protection Plan to a Voluntary Short Term Disability Plan, Implementation of New Voluntary Insurance Options, E-Rate Edge Switching Recommendation, Revisions, Adoption, and Repeal of Board of Education Policies & Rules in the 600 & 700 Series of Policies related to Fiscal Management and Support Services. Following the open session, there will be a motion to adjourn into closed session in room #337, pursuant to:
