MEETING NOTICE BOARD OF EDUCATION GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN The Board of Education will be meeting in the Green Bay Area Public School District Office Building located at 200 S. Broadway, Green Bay, WI 54303. Open session meetings will take place in room #331 and closed session portions of meetings will take place in room #337 (unless otherwise noted), both of which are located on the 3rd floor. Some individuals will be joining via zoom and the meeting will be live streamed broadcasted on the Green Bay Area Public School District YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrBxEp_9xzauvGyUydBvV9g. These meetings are meetings of the Board of Education in public for the purpose of conducting the School District's business and are not to be considered public community meetings. There is a time for public participation during the Work Session meeting as indicated in the agenda. Members of the public wishing to address the Board may speak during the public forum or provide written comments in accordance with the procedures posted on the District's website (https://www.gbaps.org/aboutgbaps/board-of-education/board-meeting-protocol) and state law. Due to Wisconsin Open Meetings Laws the Board may not be able to address comments made during public input. When appropriate the Board may request the administration to reach out to a citizen regarding a concern they may have. Any special needs or any requests for accommodations related to accessing the meeting should be sent to kllehr@gbaps.org at least 24-hours in advance of the meeting. This would include any person for whom it would be burdensome or infeasible to use the primary method(s) of remote access established by the District. The Agenda will be available on the District's Web Site www.gbaps.org on the Friday preceding the meeting, the Agenda is incorporated by reference as part of this Notice. REGULAR BOARD MEETING Monday, April 27, 2026 Closed Session - 5:00 p.m. Open Session - 6:00 p.m. The meeting will convene in Open Session at 5:00 p.m. with a motion to go into Closed Session in room #337 pursuant to: Wisconsin Statute 19.85 (1)(a) and (f) - Considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where par. (b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations; to wit: for the purpose of holding expulsion hearings under Wisconsin Statute 120.13(1)(c) and (e); and Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over whom the board has jurisdiction and Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(f), to consider financial, medical, social, or personal histories which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of persons referred to, specifically to discuss the employment status of employees. The Board will reconvene in Open Session at 6:00 p.m. in room #331 pursuant to Section 19.85(2), Wisconsin Statute to consider the balance of the agenda which will include Recognition, a Public Forum and discussion on Superintendent Update, Legislative Update, Clean Energy Advisory Committee Update, Report of Canvassers, and discussion and action as deemed necessary on Election of School District Officers and Secretary to the Board of Education, School Board Organization Appointments, Consent Agenda, 2026-2027 Fee Schedule, Suspension of Administrative Tuition Reimbursement for 2026-2027, Revisions, Adoptions, and Repeals to Board of Education Policies & Rules in the 600 & 700 Series of Policies related to Fiscal Management and Support Services, Revisions to Board of Education Policy 171.1 - Public Notification of Board Meetings and Meetings of Other Governmental Bodies of the School District, Revisions to Board of Education Policy 458 - Wellness, Revisions to Board of Education Rule 458 - Procedures for Implementing District Wellness Policy, Revisions to Board of Education Policy 824 - Use of Electronic Surveillance or Monitoring Technology in Public Areas of School Buildings and District Property, 2026-2027 Cost of Living Adjustments for Educators, Paraprofessionals, First Nations Specialists, Student Learning Advocates, Trades, Executive Assistants, Officer Personnel, Food Service, Maintenance, Hourly Staff with Benefits, Van Drivers, Monitors (Elementary and Secondary), Managers, Technical Professionals, and Administrators, and School Board Member Compensation for 2026-2027.
