NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR THE MICHIGAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT(CDBG) PROGRAM INCOME FUNDING
Monroe County will conduct a public hearing on January 6, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Monroe County Board of Commissioners Chambers, 125 E. Second St. Monroe, MI 48161 for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to examine and submit comments on the proposed Monroe County CDBG program income grant.
Monroe County proposes to use $72,784.03 CDBG program income funds for emergency repairs and benefit at least (100%) low to moderate income persons. Zero persons will be displaced as a result of the proposed activities.
This program is to be administered by Monroe County Opportunity Program as a Third Party Administrator.
Further information, including a copy of Monroe County's CDBG program income certification and prior CDBG program performance documentation is available for review. The documents can be reviewed at the Monroe County Courthouse, Finance Department, 125 E Second St. Monroe, MI 48161. Comments may be submitted in writing through January 5, 2026 or made in person at the public hearing.
