Maine Public Notice Notice of Public Hearing Village of Maine, Marathon County, Wisconsin The Plan Commission of the Village of Maine will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Maine Municipal Center, 6111 N. 44th Avenue, Wausau, Wisconsin to hear the following Zoning Ordinance Amendment Petition by Eckardt Corporation/Haas Son Inc. Amendment – Eckardt Corporation/Haas Son Inc. are petitioning the Village of Maine Plan Commission for a Zoning Amendment. The amendment would add a Mineral Extraction Overlay District (OME) to the current Agriculture District. Eckardt Corporation and Haas Son Inc. intend to mine non-metallic material from the parcels listed below. The parcels are located on N 4th Avenue, in the Village of Maine.
