United States Tennis Association presented a check to Southeast Polk in the amount of $63,750 through a USTA grant for the resurfacing of the tennis courts.

Motion was made to approve the School Resource (SRO) Law Enforcement Agreement with the City of Pleasant Hill for the 2025-2026 school year.

C. Public Hearing for MidAmerican Energy Utility Easement (communication)
Public hearing for a utility easement to MidAmerican Energy between the frontage road and University Avenue north of the junior high and Skills Trade building was opened at 5:39 pm. There were no public comments or questions. Hearing closed at 5:40 pm.
1. Approval of MidAmerican Energy Utility Easement
Motion was made to approve the Resolution Approving Conveyance of Interests In Real Property to MidAmerican Energy regarding the utility easement between the frontage road and University Avenue north of the junior high and Skills Trade building.

III. Topics for Discussion
A.Superintendent's Report (communication)
Superintendent Halupnik gave an update on summer activities including but not limited to the girls softball team participation at the state tournament, preparations for the new school year start, and progress on the 2025 referendum.
B. Advanced Placement Update (high academic achievement)
Principal Stephen Pettit gave a report on the positive achievements of high school students participating in Advanced Placement courses and taking AP exams.
C. Enrollment Update (communication & fiscal integrity)
Deputy Superintendent Joe Horton gave an update on 2025-2026 school year enrollment.
D. SIP: Year 2 Task Force Implementation (high academic achievement)
Associate Superintendent JoEllen Latham gave a summary of the progress within the Southeast Polk Task Forces.
