Minutes of a Special Meeting of The Board of Directors of the United Community School District May 5, 2026 CALL TO ORDER The United Community School District Board of Education held a special board meeting at 5:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, via online Google Meets meeting by President Jon Davis. The following members of the board answered the roll call: Jon Davis, Ben Hershey, and Kathy Toms. Lori Weyhrich and Rachael Gross were absent. Other staff present: Heather Holm, Superintendent, and Jenn Meinecke, Board Secretary. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Toms motioned to approve the agenda as presented. Hershey seconded. Motion carried 3-0. ACTION ITEM: CONTRACTS FOR CERTIFIED STAFF FY27 Hershey motioned to approve the contracts for certified staff for fiscal year 2026-2027. Toms seconded. Motion carried 3-0. ADJOURN Gross joined the meeting at 5:36 p.m. after the motion carried to approve the contracts for certified staff FY27, but before adjournment. There was no further business to come before the board for consideration. Hershey motioned to adjourn the meeting. Toms seconded.
