NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE KISATCHIE NATIONAL FOREST The C-28 Viking Sale is located within T12N, R5W, Sec 6, T12N, R6W, Sec 1, T13N, R6W, Sec 25, 35 and 36. The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Supervisor's Office, Pineville, LA before or at the time of public bid opening at 9:00 AM local time on 05/21/2026 for an estimated volume of 699 CCF of Hardwoods sawtimber, 4415 CCF of Southern Yellow Pine sawtimber, 357 CCF of Hardwoods pulpwood, and 820 CCF of Softwood - Other pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. This is a small business set-aside sale. If no self-certifying small business concern makes a valid bid, the Forest Service will readvertise this sale without restrictions on bidder size. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Winn Ranger District, 12319 Hwy 84, Winnfield, LA or Supervisor's Office, 2500 Shreveport Hwy., Pineville, LA 71360.
