NJY CAMPS LAKEWOOD CAMPUS ELECTRICAL UPGRADES – PUBLIC ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NJY Camps will be accepting bids for electrical service upgrades atCamp Nesher, located on NJY's Lakewood Campus. The projectis a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade project designed to modernize power distribution to the campus. The project will take place at 90 Woods Road, Lakewood, Wayne County, PA. The project includes the following: Main Electrical Service Upgrade Main Power Pole Infrastructure Weather-Proof Distribution Equipment Camp-Wide Distribution Network Cabin-Specific Electrical Upgrades (13 Cabins) A more detailed breakdown of each of these scope items can be found in the Request for Bids (RFB). Request for Bids documents will be available beginning April 30, 2026. Bids must be received by 5:00 p.m. on May 21, 2026. Interested bidders should email Elliot Forchheimer at elliot@njycamps.org to obtain a link to download all bid documents. Vendors can also contact Elliot via email or at 570-840-2515 with questions and for information on alternate means of obtaining the bid documents. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting to review the Request for Bids and to walk the property. The pre-bid meeting will be held on May 7, 2026 beginning at 9am at 90 Woods Road, Lakewood, Wayne County, PA. Pre-bid questions are due May 14, 2026. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual bid due date. The Project will be partially funded with state grant funds requiring all bidders to be in compliance with state contracting laws. A copy of the grant agreement is included in the Request for Bids and is considered part of the bid documents. Compliance requirements include, but are not limited to, nondiscrimination/sexual harassment provisions, PA Prevailing Wage, proof of insurance, and performance and payment bonds. Additional requirements are detailed in the bid documents.
