NOTICE AND CALL OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF A REZONING REQUEST FOR PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF ALTOONA, IOWA The Altoona Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 at 6:30 PM in the City Council Chambers at Altoona City Hall, 900 Venbury Drive, Altoona, Iowa. The tentative agenda for said meeting is as follows: Consideration of a rezoning request from John Whitacre on behalf of SEI Investments LLC. The request is to rezone approximately 0.374 acres from M-1 (Limited Industrial) to C-4 (Village Commercial). The land is legally described as follows: LOT 7 IN BURGET'S SUBDIVISION. This property is generally located at the Northwest corner of 1st Ave South and 3rd St SW and is addressed as 208 1st Ave S. Any person interested in said request may appear before the Altoona Planning and Zoning Commission at the time and place set above to voice their opinion either for or against said request.
