NOTICE FOR BIDS PEARL RIVER VALLEY WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT 2026 DREDGING OPERATIONS AREAS BARNETT RESERVOIR PRV # 26-600-34-99 Sealed and electronic bids will be received by the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District (District) for 2026 Dredging Operations, Barnett Reservoir until 11:00 o'clock A.M., Local Time, on July 29, 2026, at the DISTRICT'S Office, 6018 Lakeshore Park, Brandon, Mississippi 39047, at which time and place bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids forwarded by mail should be addressed to the District at P. O. Box 5219, Brandon, Mississippi 39047. Contract time and liquidated damages for failure to complete are detailed in the Contract Documents. The Advertisement for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Form of Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: PRVWSD District Office, 6018 Lakeshore Park, Brandon, Mississippi 39047 Official Bid Documents, including the Contract Documents, can be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com . Bids shall be made out on the bid proposal form provided, sealed in an envelope, and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope: Bid for 2026 Dredging Operations, Barnett Reservoir, Bid #26-600-34-99. Bidder must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors establishing its classification as to the value and type of construction on which it is authorized to bid. Each bidder shall write its Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing its proposal. Each Bidder must deposit with its bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Mississippi State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of its resident state's current law pertaining to such state's treatment of non-resident contractors with its bid. Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor's current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award. The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: 1) mobilize equipment and personnel to the site, 2) dredge channels to specified depth and dimensions, 3) monitor disposal facilities, 4) demobilize equipment and personnel from the site, 5) conduct bathymetric surveys to verify quantities of material removed. The project is expected to require dredging of approximately 36,400 cubic yards of in-place sediment. The project is on District property in Rankin and Madison Counties, in Mississippi. A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for July 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time at the PRVWSD District office at 6018 Lakeshore Park, Brandon, MS 39047. A site visit will follow the meeting. Attendance by all potential contractors, subcontractors, and other interested parties is strongly encouraged. Bidders must be qualified to perform the work. Qualifications and experience shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents and provided by the Bidder, if requested by the District. The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
