IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF MARICOPA
In the Matter of Angelina Jujuan Simon Saufley, a minor child, in JS521931, assigned to the Honorable Terry Bannon.
TO: John Doe, Alleged Father of Minor Child
1. You are hereby notified that a Petition to Terminate Parent-Child Relationship has commenced in the Superior Court of Maricopa County, in the State of Arizona by the Petitioners, Christilou Ann and James Saufley, the object and nature of which is to obtain a termination Rachelann Jujuan Saufley (d.o.b. 08/31/1988), Pedro Margarito Siomon Lopez (d.o.b. 02/22/1981), Chad Rapier (d.o.b. 07/31/1983), and John Doe parental rights as to the child, Angelina Jujuan Simon Saufley, having filed with the Court a verified Petition to Terminate Parent-Child Relationship between Father and his birth child, Angelina Jujuan Simon Saufley (d.o.b. 01/11/2011).
2. The parties to this action are the Petitioners, Christilou Ann and James Saufley, the Respondent/Mother, Rachelann Jujuan Saufley, Respondent/Father Pedro Margarito Siomon Lopez Respondent/Father Chad Rapier, and Respondent/Father John Doe, the name and address of the attorney for the Petitioners is Josefa Rodriguez of Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A. located at 2575 E. Camelback Rd. Ste. 1100, Phoenix, Arizona 85016.
3. Petitioners, Christilou Ann and James Saufley, by and through counsel, Josefa Rodriguez of Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A has filed a Petition for Termination of Parent-Child Relationship, Notice of Hearing, and Notice of Filing Affidavit of Minor Child.
4. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Initial Severance Hearing and Publication hearing on the Petition to Terminate Parent-Child Relationship is scheduled for July 14, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.. before the Honorable Thomas Marquoit in the Maricopa County Superior Court, located at 3131 W Durango St Phoenix AZ 85009 for the purpose of determining whether any parent named herein is contesting the allegations in the Petition for Termination.
5. You have the right to appear as a party in this proceeding. The failure of a parent to appear at the Initial Hearing, the Pretrial Conference, the Status Conference or the Termination Adjudication Hearing may result in an adjudication terminating the parent-child relationship of that parent.
6. Failure to appear at Initial Hearing, the Pretrial Conference, the Status Conference or the Termination Adjudication Hearing, without good cause, may result in a finding that the parent, guardian or Indian custodian has waived legal rights, including the right to trial, and is deemed to have admitted the allegations in the Petition. The hearing may go forward in the absence of the parent, guardian or Indian custodian and may result in the termination of parental rights based upon the record and evidence presented. In the event a named parent appears and enters a contest to the allegations, a trial will be scheduled for a later date. If a named parent does not contest the allegations, then that parent's rights shall be terminated on the above date and time.
7. At the initial hearing, an attorney will be appointed to represent any parent named hereof if the parent appears at the hearing, wants a lawyer, and if the parent cannot afford to hire one. That parent will be required to sign a financial affidavit and may be required to pay some or all of the cost of the attorney.
8. A request for reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities must be made to the Court by parties at least three (3) working days in advance of a scheduled court proceeding.
