NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN The City of Stockton, California, will receive sealed proposals until Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 2:00 pm for the REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - STOCKTON CHANNEL WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE CITY OF STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (PROJECT NO. UW25011). Each proposal shall be submitted as one packet and shall be accompanied by the Non-Collusion Declaration and all the required documentation and information. Each proposer shall be licensed in accordance with applicable State laws. The City of Stockton, Municipal Utilities Department (City) is seeking proposals from qualified Design-Build teams to provide comprehensive engineering and construction services for the Stockton Channel Water Quality Improvement Project. The primary objective of this project is to rehabilitate and optimize the existing underwater bubbler system located within the Stockton Water Channel. Each sealed proposal shall be marked 'PROPOSAL' and shall indicate the project name, number, and proposal opening date, and shall be mailed or delivered to the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, (1st floor), 501 W Weber Ave, Bldg. 1, Stockton, CA 95203, up to, but no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2026. A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2026, at 2500 Navy Drive, Stockton, CA 95206. Proposers are hereby notified that the successful proposer and any sub-consultant under them shall pay prevailing wage rates in accordance with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations. A contract will be awarded to the proposer who best meets the needs of the City; provided, however, that the City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to re-advertise for proposals or to provide for the work to be done by the City of Stockton.
