NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS, ACTING AS THE BOARD OF TRANSPORTATION OF THE CITY OF INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA AND THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE METROPOLITAN THOROUGHFARE DISTRICT OF MARION COUNTY, INDIANA REGARDING CONSTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION AND CONSTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION Notice is hereby given that the Board of Public Works (the "Board"), acting as the Board of Transportation of the City of Indianapolis, Indiana and the governing body of the Metropolitan Thoroughfare District of Marion County (the "District"), on May 27, 2026, approved and adopted a resolution (the "Resolution") proposing to issue bonds or notes of the District, in one or more series, payable from a special tax levied upon all of the taxable property in the District, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed Forty Million Dollars ($40,000,000) (the "Bonds"), for the purpose of procuring funds to be applied to finance certain street, road, bridge, traffic signal, curb and sidewalk improvements, capitalized interest, if necessary, bond insurance premium, if necessary, the costs of issuance and, if necessary, fund a debt service reserve, if necessary, forward delivery premium, if necessary, and together with expenses incidental thereto, including all expenses permitted by Indiana Code 36-9-6.5-9 and all expenses incurred in connection with or on account of the issuance of the Bonds therefor (collectively, the "Projects"). The Projects are more particularly described in the Resolution. Notice is further given that on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (local time), in the Public Assembly Room at the City-County Building, located at 200 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana (the "City County Building"), the Board will conduct a public hearing to receive or hear remonstrances or objections from persons interested in or affected by the proceedings relating to the Projects, and to determine the public utility and benefit of the Projects by confirming, modifying or rescinding the Resolution. The Resolution, together with material included therewith, has been prepared and is on file and can be inspected during normal business hours at the office of the Department of Public Works, located at the City-County Building, Suite 2460.
