NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on June 18, 2026, by Resolution 417- 2026, the Ontario County Board of Supervisors adopted Local Law No. 2 (Intro.) of 2026, which provides: The intent of this local law shall be to continue the Ontario County Room Tax for Three (3) Years, imposing a tax on facilities providing lodging on an overnight basis and provide for the collection thereof in order to make funds available for the official tourism promotion agency as designated by the County. The effective date of this local law is September 1, 2026.
