NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on July 16, 2026, the Ontario County Board of Supervisors adopted Local Law No. 3 (Intro.) of 2026 which provides:
That an online registry be established identifying individuals residing in Ontario County who have been convicted of animal abuse crimes in order to prevent these individuals from adopting, purchasing or otherwise obtaining animals.
A copy of the actual text of this local law is available for inspection at the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors during regular office hours or online at https://www.ontariocountyny.gov/1106/Local-Laws.
