DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection gives notice that it has issued a Site Rehabilitation Completion Order in response to a No Further Action Proposal submitted by Longwood Enterprises, Inc., for the former APAC/Okaloosa Asphalt Plant, located at 105 Sunset Ln, Shalimar, Okaloosa County, Florida 32579, Site ID No. ERIC_18403. The Site Rehabilitation Completion Order was filed with the Department Clerk on July 10, 2026.
Persons whose substantial interests are affected by the Department's action may petition for an administrative hearing pursuant to Sections 120.569 and 120.57, Florida Statutes. Petitions filed by persons other than the addressee of the order must be filed within 21 days of publication of this notice or within 21 days of receipt of written notice, whichever occurs first. Failure to file a petition within the applicable time period constitutes a waiver of the right to request an administrative hearing or to intervene in this proceeding, subject to applicable law.
Petitions must be filed with the Department's Office of General Counsel, 3900 Commonwealth Boulevard, Mail Station 35, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3000, or by electronic correspondence to Agency_Clerk@FloridaDEP.gov. A copy of any petition must also be mailed to the addressee of the order at the address indicated in the order.
Complete copies of the No Further Action Proposal, the Site Rehabilitation Completion Order, and related Department file materials may be available for public inspection online at Oculus, the Department's online document management system or by contacting the Department. Please use the DEP Site, Facility or Project number listed to communicate with DEP or Oculus.
