NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR FLUID INJECTION WELL PERMIT Hilcorp Energy Company, 1111 Travis Street Houston, TX 77002 is applying to the Railroad Commission of Texas for a permit to inject fluids by well injection into a porous formation of oil or gas. The applicant proposes to inject saltwater and CO2 into the Queen and San Andres formation, Roberts Unit Lease, Well Number 4540, Wasson Field, Lease No. 19212. The proposed injection well is located 4 miles northwest of Denver City, TX in Wasson Field, in Yoakum County. Fluids will be injected into strata in the subsurface depth interval from 4,849 to 5,300 feet. LEGAL AUTHORITY: Chapter 27 of the Texas Water Code, as amended, Title 3 of the Texas Natural Resources Code, as amended, and the Statewide Rules of the Oil and Gas Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas.
