The United States Army and Fort Campbell have prepared a Draft Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA) for Weapons Modernization Fielding at Fort Campbell. The PEA has been prepared to facilitate compliance with the National Environmental Compliance Act (NEPA) for the stationing, fielding, and maintaining of up to six additional weapon systems developed as part of the Army Modernization Strategy (AMS) at Fort Campbell.
The Draft PEA has resulted in a Draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). The documents are based on the thorough review of the purpose and need and the potential environmental and socioeconomic impacts. Both documents are available for public review and comment on Fort Campbell’s Environmental website, https://home.army.mil/campbell/index.php/about/Garrison/dpw/environmental in the Public Review Documents link.
