NOTICE OF BIDS TOWN OF SENECA VERBUNKER AVE - RECONDITIONING TOWN ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (TRI) The Town of Seneca will accept bids until 6:00 P.M. (CST) on Monday February 2, 2026. Bids may be submitted by mail to Clerk, Jackie Kitowski, PO Box 94, Wisconsin Rapids, 54495. Bids will be opened at the monthly meeting in the Town of Seneca Town Hall Building, at 6:30 PM on Wednesday February 4, 2026. Verbunker Avenue beginning 211' west of the intersection of Verbunker Avenue and Port Road continuing west to the Town of Seneca limits (Approximately 792 feet) is a LRIP – Town Road Improvement Project. Replace an existing metal 18" culvert with 42' of 18" HDPE dual wall culvert, adding 2" of gravel (140 TONS) Pulverizing full asphalt depth, approximately 4" (1,760 SY), grade, shape so base is crowned to a 2 percent from center line, compact, pave 225 tons of type 4MT 58-28S, 2 inches thick placed in 1-2" lift 10 feet wide per lane, place 30 tons of compacted ¾" crushed aggregate for shoulder 2 foot wide by 4 inches deep with a shoulder machine and compacted with a smooth drum or pneumatic roller. Work may begin on or after June 8, 2026, and all work is to be completed by August 28, 2026. All work and materials shall be in accordance with Wisconsin Department of Transportation standard specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, 2026 Edition.
