NOTICE OF CLOSING AN ELECTRIC EASEMENT
Notice is hereby given that an Ordinance has been requested to close an electric easement, located at 1700 South State Street, and more particularly described as follows:
A strip of land lying in Lot Eight (8) and Lot Nine (9), Block Three (3), SIGNAL RIDGE 2nd ADDITION to the City of Edmond, also lying in the Northwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 13 North, Range 3 West of the Indian Meridian, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, being 10 feet in width, and being more particularly as follows:
COMMENCING at the northwest corner of said Lot 8;
THENCE South 00°11'50" East, along the west line of said Lot 8 and 9, a distance of 321.80 feet to a point being 101.80 feet South 00°11'50" East of the northwest corner of said Lot 9;
THENCE North 89°43'22" East a distance of 220.26 feet;
THENCE North 00°16'38" West a distance of 164.56 feet;
THENCE North 45°00'00" West a distance of 11.03 feet;
THENCE South 90°00'00" West a distance of 2.93 feet;
THENCE North 00°00'00" East a distance of 10.00 feet;
THENCE North 90°00'00" East a distance of 10.00 feet;
THENCE South 00°00'00" West a distance of 2.93 feet;
THENCE South 45°00'00" East a distance of 15.15 feet;
THENCE South 00°16'38" East a distance of 178.68 feet;
THENCE South 89°43'22" West a distance of 230.27 feet to a point on the west line of said Lot 9;
THENCE North 00°11'50" West, along said west line, a distance of 10.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
A hearing will be held before the Edmond City Council on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Center Complex Council Chambers, 22 East Main Street, Edmond, Oklahoma for the purpose of considering an Ordinance closing the utility easement. All interested parties may appear at said time and show cause why the Ordinance should not be passed by the Edmond City Council.
