NOTICE OF DECISION
Pursuant to NJSA 40:55D-10(i)
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Board of the Township of Neptune ("Board") did, on the 24th day of June, 2026, formally adopt a Resolution memorializing the action of the Board taken at its May 27, 2026 meeting granting Seaview Sanctuary LLC ("Applicant") conditional use approval ("Approval") with regard to property known as Lot 3 in Block 106 as shown on the Official Tax Map of the Township of Neptune and located at 14 Seaview Avenue, Neptune, New Jersey ("Property").
The Property is located in the Township's Historic District Oceanfront Zone ("HD-O Zone") and currently contains a four-story boarding house building and related site improvements. The Approval permits a change of use from the existing boarding house use to a bed-and-breakfast guesthouse use with 14 guest units and a dwelling unit for the owner/operator. The bed-and-breakfast guesthouse use is a conditionally permitted use in the HD-O Zone, and the Approval confirms that Applicant meets all of the conditional use requirements. No site changes are proposed in conjunction with the Approval.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Resolution and the materials relied upon by the Board at the meetings of May 27, 2026 and June 24, 2026 are on file at the Board's office located 25 Neptune Boulevard, Neptune, New Jersey and are available for inspection during the Township's regular business hours.
