NOTICE OF DECISION

NOTICE OF DECISION PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that upon the Application of Aqua New Jersey, Inc. (the "Applicant"), the Vernon Township Land Use Board (the "Board") on September 10, 2025, granted Preliminary Site Plan Approval, Final Site Plan Approval, and Use Variance Approval and, on October 8, 2025, adopted a Resolution of Approval for Application Number LU# 7-25-6 memorializing these Approvals that allow for the proposed improvements associated with PFAS water treatment equipment with respect to property located within an existing water treatment facility located within an easement area at 57 Cedar Ridge Drive, identified on the Official Tax Maps for the Township of Vernon as Block 546, Lot 45, within a Residential (R-2) Zoning District (the "Property"). Specifically, the Board granted Preliminary Site Plan Approval, Final Site Plan Approval, and Use Variance Approval to allow for the proposed improvements associated with PFAS water treatment equipment including an 86.25+/- square foot utility enclosure containing two (2) PFAS water treatment vessels, an extension of the existing gravel driveway, two (2) retaining walls – one (1) 4+/- foot wall and one (1) 2+/- foot wall, underground utility lines, and additional landscaping. Copies of the Resolution for Application Number LU# 7-25-6, Board determinations, Application, correspondence, and supporting documentation are on file and available for public inspection and public review within the Township of Vernon Division of Planning & Zoning Department, located at 21 Church Street, Vernon, New Jersey 07642 during the Township's regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm – excluding holidays).
