NOTICE OF DECISION
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at the conclusion of a hearing held before it on April 15, 2026, the Planning Board for the Township of Toms River granted preliminary and final major site plan approval with variances for minimum front yard setbacks to the principal structure and to vehicle circulation aisles, maximum number and location of building mounted signage, minimum setbacks to and height of directional signs and ground identification signs, and required number of shrubs, ground cover, flowers or other plant material to the undersigned, to allow the undersigned applicant to construct, establish and maintain a car wash facility to be known as Spark Car Wash consisting of approximately 4,841 square feet with an interior automatic car wash and associated office area, approximately 24 accessory parking spaces each equipped with vacuum cleaners, together with related lighting, landscaping, stormwater management facilities and other site improvements. The approved car wash is to be located at 981 NJSH Route 37. The property is also shown and designated as Lot 29.01 in Block 506.03 on the Township of Toms River tax map.
The decision of the Board was memorialized in a written Resolution adopted by the said Toms River Township Planning Board on May 6, 2026, and is available at the office of the Secretary to the Planning Board at Toms River Township, Town Hall, 33 Washington Street, Toms River, New Jersey.
