NOTICE OF DECISION
Please take notice that the Washington Township Zoning Board of Adjustment ("Board") has granted an application for development filed by Marketplace Mission Group, Inc. ("Applicant") regarding real property located at 360 Greentree Road, designated as block 193, lots 3, 3.01 and 3.02 on the municipal tax map. Existing lot 3.01 is located in the Residential Rural (R) zone and existing lots 3 and 3.02 are located in the Highway Commercial (HC) zone. The Applicant proposes to consolidate the three existing tax lots and develop a commercial multi-use facility that will include a coffee shop, retail store and Young Life group center. The Board granted a bifurcated use variance to permit (i) Young Life group center on the portion of the proposed consolidated lot located in the R zone in which such a use is not permitted, and (ii) multiple principal uses on a single lot.
The Board granted this application on December 8, 2025 and its decision was memorialized in a written resolution that the Board adopted on February 9, 2026. A copy of the memorializing resolution is filed in the office of the municipal administrative officer. A copy is available to any interested party for a reasonable fee and is available for public inspection during municipal business hours.
