VOORHEES TOWNSHIP PLANNING BOARD

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on June 24, 2026, the Voorhees Township Planning Board (the "Planning Board") considered and approved the application of Voorhees Solar Holdings, LLC (the "Applicant") with respect to the real property located at 300 Centennial Boulevard, Voorhees Township and designated as Block 206, Lot 4 (the "Property") on the official tax maps of the Township of Voorhees.
At the hearing on the application, the Planning Board approved the Applicant's request for preliminary and final site plan approval with variance relief and design waivers (the "Application") to permit the installation, operation and use of a community-scale solar ground mount, solar energy system (the "Solar Energy System") on an approximately 13.50-acre portion of the Property. As part of the approval, the Planning Board also granted the Applicant's request for bulk variance relief and design waivers to permit the following: (i) a maximum perimeter fence of eight (8) ft., where §150.14(B)(1)(A) of the Township Code permits a maximum fence of six (6) ft.; (ii) a maximum height for the Solar Energy System of eight (8) ft., where §150.17(C)(2)(d) of the Township Code permits a maximum height of six (6) ft.; and (iii) elimination of the requirements under §150.006(A)(8) of the Township Code, which requires every 100 linear ft. of buffer to contain a minimum of 18 evergreen trees, 40 shrubs, 3 ornamental trees, 2 shade trees, a 6 ft. berm, and a 6 ft. fence (collectively, the "Approval").
On July 8, 2026, the Planning Board adopted a resolution to memorialize the Approval (the "Resolution").
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a copy of the Resolution has been filed and is available for public inspection during normal business hours in the Voorhees Township Planning Department, 2400 Voorhees Town Center, Voorhees, New Jersey.
