NOTICE OF ELECTION ON SALES AND USE TAX LEVY Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Licking County Commissioners, passed on the 8th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026, the question of levying a tax for the benefit of the Licking County Transit Authority: Shall a sales and use tax be levied by the Board of Licking County Commissioners for the purpose of providing additional general revenues for the Licking County Transit Authority and to preserve and improve transit services and ensure long-term service availability to support access to transportation at a rate not exceeding 0.15 per cent for a period of 10 years?
