NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Muskingum County, Ohio, passed on the 14th day of July, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November 2025, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten-mill limitation: A renewal of a tax for benefit of Muskingum County for the purpose of the support of Muskingum County Children Services and Avondale Youth Center and the care, support, protection, and placement of physically abused, sexually abused, neglected, and abandoned children that the county auditor estimates will collect $4,076,693 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $36 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for 10 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
