NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Newton Township, Ohio, passed on the 8th day of July, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November 2025, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten-mill limitation: A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Newton Township for the purpose of providing fire protection, ambulance or emergency medical services, underwater rescue and recovery equipment that the county auditor estimates will collect $216,292 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $105 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.
