NOTICE OF ELECTION NOTICE OF ELECTION SCARBOROUGH FIRE DISTRICT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: The regular annual election will be held at the firehouse, One Union Street, Scarborough, Town of Mount Pleasant, County of Westchester, State of New York on the 9th Day of December 2025 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time for the purpose of electing the following officers: ONE (1) FIRE COMMISSIONER FOR THE TERM OF FIVE (5) YEARS. Term commencing January 1, 2026. Any candidate for office wishing their name appear on the official ballot shall file a declaration of such intention containing the signatures of ten (10) qualified voters with the Secretary of the Scarborough Fire District at least twenty (20) days prior to the date of the election. Forms for such declaration are available by contacting the Secretary of the Scarborough Fire District. ONE (1) FIRE COMMISSIONER FOR THE TERM OF TWO (2) YEARS. Term commencing January 1, 2026. Any candidate for office wishing their name appear on the official ballot shall file a declaration of such intention containing the signatures of ten (10) qualified voters with the Secretary of the Scarborough Fire District at least twenty (20) days prior to the date of the election.
