NOTICE OF ELECTION In compliance with Sec. 225.127.5 RSMO notice is hereby given that a general municipal election shall be held in the Brookline Fire Protection District, of Greene County and Christian County, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, beginning at six o'clock a.m., and closing at seven o'clock p.m. to elect the following: Two (2) Board Directors for a 6-year term of office. Interested residents must appear in person at the Administrative Office of the Brookline Fire Protection District for candidate filing with a valid Missouri Driver's License. Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications as stipulated by law. There is a $100.00 filing fee per candidate. Declaration of Candidacy can be filed in the Administrative Office of the Brookline Fire Protection District located at 3504 E Orr Street, Brookline, MO between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. beginning the 9th day of December 2025 and closing at 5:00 p.m. December 30th, 2025. The office will be closed December 24 ,25 & 26, 2025 for the holidays. The Brookline Fire District may close as a result of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
