NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Muskingum County, Ohio, passed on the 15th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May 2026, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten-mill limitation: A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Muskingum County for the purpose of providing and maintaining senior citizens services or facilities, that the county auditor estimates will collect $989,149 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $9 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
